Tesco’s grant programme “Vy rozhodujete, my pomáháme” (“You decide, we help”) celebrates its eighth anniversary, having supported 2,500 local projects across the Czech Republic with a total of CZK 60 million. Responding to the increasing demand from the non-profit sector, especially for initiatives supporting children and young people, Tesco is now relaunching the programme under the new name “Správný start.” This updated initiative will focus specifically on helping children and young adults up to 26 years old in various areas of their development. Beginning in October, twice-yearly grant calls will provide a total of CZK 6.3 million in funding. Non-profit organisations, schools, and other institutions are encouraged to apply or promote the programme.
