Andrew Yates is a real estate partner of London’s offce in DLA Piper.

Andrew is renowned for his expertise in leading major development and regeneration projects. He is particularly recognised in the market for his knowledge of the build-to-rent (BTR) sector and large residential investment. He advises clients on the finance, purchase and development of some of the UK’s most significant BTR schemes. He brings an understanding of forward funding, joint ventures and operational management – an area that has become increasingly significant as investors seek scale and specialist management capability.

Andrew has a long history leading teams on some of the UK’s largest regeneration schemes and over twenty years experience of being the leading legal advisor for public sector bodies such as Homes England, the Greater London Authority, Transport for London and London Legacy Development Corporation.
