Eva has worked at the British Embassy in Prague for 4 years, leading the communications and public diplomacy team. For the #JsemTuNovej campaign, which introduced the new British Ambassador in January 2023, her team won several PR awards, including PR Team of the Year and the European Excellence Awards in Berlin. She previously spent 7 years in Brussels working in the European Parliament, first for the Czech ODS party and then for the British Conservatives, focusing on digital communications and campaigns. Despite all those years working closely with the Brits, she never learned to drink her tea with milk.

At this event, we have witnessed the fusion of public diplomacy and creative communication at its finest. The discussion was opened by H.E. Matt Field and Silvia Bušniaková and then we heard from the amazing Eva Bouchalová, director of PR at the Embassy and also the leading force behind the very successful #JsemTuNovej campaign.
Eva shared insights from behind the scenes of the campaign, discussed the role of public diplomacy in international relations, and explained why creative communication matters in both the public and corporate sectors. After the discussion and questions, participants enjoyed small refreshments and great networking.
